3.2.7 Typical MDF Scenarios
This section describes typical installation scenarios.
3.2.7.1 Installation Scenario A
You want to install the IES-612-51 in an environment where there are no previously installed
MDFs. There is no phone service and you want to install the IES-612-51 for data-access only.
No connections from the CO lines are necessary.
You may connect using an MDF or attach RJ-11 connectors to the non-IES-612-51 end of the
Telco-50 cable and then connect to DSL modems directly.
