2 Accessing the Internet

You will need your Internet access information such as user name and

password if given by your ISP.

Note: The VPI and VCI are 8 and 35 by default; if your ISP gave you a

different VPI and VCI, see the User’s Guide.

2.1 PPPoA or PPPoE Dial-up Connection

If you are using PPPoE or PPPoA encapsulation, you must dial up your

Internet connection like a traditional modem.
